Family Pizza Places in Knoxville – Hard Knox Has My Heart
Hard Knox Pizza makes its mark on Knoxville’s pizza scene, offering more than just amazing pies. It’s our go-to spot for when we want to get together with families and just chill and share a meal in a fun environment.
Here’s why Hard Knox Pizza is our family’s choice for the champion of family pizza places in Knoxville.
‘Kid Tested, Parent Approved’
It’s not easy keeping a table full of young kids satisfied. Trust me, we have 3. Two of which can be pretty picky eaters and that doesn’t always leave us having fun when we go out to eat.
Yet, Hard Knox Pizza seems to have cracked the code. Their menu works for even our pickiest of eaters, with classics like cheese and pepperoni but they’ve even branched out and started trying pizza like The “Rona” which has fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, Applewood smoked bacon, and grated parmesan.
Their commitment to using fresh ingredients means my wife can relax knowing that the kids are getting a quality meal. And the best part? Kids eat free on Tuesdays.
We love that it feels like a genuine effort to make family nights out not only delicious but also affordable and something you can look forward to doing every week.
Best Family Atmosphere In Knoxville
We really do consider Hard Knox Pizza more than just a place to eat, it’s where we can come together as a family to unwind and reconnect. A reprieve from the screens and nightly homework and chores that face us when we get home.
Here, we get a chance to take a little break and enjoy each other’s company.
The warm interior is great for casual family dinners, while the outdoor seating is a hit during the warmer months.
The friendly staff at Hard Knox goes out of their way to make families feel welcome and if you go often enough they’ll get to know you by name. That feels pretty special to be a regular. I feel like they do a great job at recognizing you and making the regulars feel extra special.
Dedicated to the Local Community
The Knoxville community seems to be a big priority at Hard Knox Pizza. It’s evident in the events they host, the local partnerships they support, and the welcoming vibe that they’ve made.
Just recently, Hard Knox Pizza teamed up with the Lady Vol Boost Her Club to host a block party in downtown Knoxville where fans got to meet some of their favorite UT athletes.
It’s these kind of events that show how much they care about Knoxville and building a place where everyone can come together.
Pre-Game and Post-Game Tradition for University of Tennessee and Local High School Sports
There’s also something special about sharing a meal with loved ones before or after a big game.
In Knoxville, where the Vols’ spirit runs high, Hard Knox Pizza has become one of our favorite pre-game meals. On game days, Knoxville is buzzing with excitement and Hard Knox Pizza is the perfect pizza place to unwind after a game.
It’s also great for a place to eat before local high school games too. With three locations in Bearden, Hardin Valley, and Central, you can find the closest one and still make the game on time!
Make it a weekly tradition and just sit back and enjoy the time with your family and friends (and even better if you win, you definitely can’t break that tradition!)
Commitment to Quality Pizza
And while the atmosphere and community might bring us through the door, it’s the pizza that keeps us coming back.
Hard Knox’s pizzas are flat-out delicious. Our favorite in all of Knoxville and I think we’ve tried them all.
They have monthly specials that are always fun to try but I could eat the Pulled Punch or Barbed Wire every day.
In a city as up-and-coming and family-oriented as Knoxville, Hard Knox Pizza has managed to truly stand out as a destination for us.
It’s where we meet when we have friends and family come to town to visit. It’s where our kids want to go if we’ve slacked on getting groceries or we just don’t feel like cooking that night (happens more than we’d like to admit.)
So if you’re feeling hungry and you’re looking for your new favorite family pizza place in Knoxville then I’d definitely suggest Hard Knox Pizza. We think it’s the best pizza in Knoxville and we’re guessing you will too!
